The Sycamore High School Jazz Ensemble recently was invited to perform at the Grand Victorian in Sycamore. Directed by Sycamore Music Department Chair Scott Mertens, they performed works by Cole Porter, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller’s crowd-pleaser “In The Mood”, and other tunes. This talented jazz band will be performing next at the annual Jazz Night on Monday, May 4 at the Sycamore High School Auditorium at 7:30 pm. Admission is free
