Sycamore High School music student Jacob Jovanovich has been accepted into the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Junior Honors Choir. Jacob competed nationally, along with 4,000 other middle school and high school students, to be able to attend this professional choral convention hosted in Minneapolis. The ACDA National Convention brings together all of the best in choral conducting and choral music for performance, symposiums and training sessions to further the future of choral music and appreciation in the United States. Jacob is excited to be the first Bass representing Sycamore High School at this conference and everyone is very proud of his accomplishment and representation of Sycamore High School and Community School District #427. This opportunity to attend this convention was partially funded by the Sycamore Music Boosters.
