Pumpkinfest Volunteers Needed

A warm welcome to all music booster parents, returning and new! Pumpkinfest weekend

is approaching quickly: Sat. & Sun. October 24th and 25th. The high school field house will once again be the scene for our biggest fundraiser, and we are fortunate to have this annual opportunity. As music student parents we count on you and greatly appreciate your efforts in helping us raise money for enriching our children’s lives through music education. The craft fair raises the majority of the funds the Music Boosters use to subsidize instrument purchases, field trips and provide summer camp scholarships to all interested students, just to name a few examples.

******* We request that parents choose from the following options: (1) Work a shift & contribute monetarily, (2) Work a shift & send in 2 pies, (3) Send in 2 pies & a monetary contribution. Boosters suggest $15 for one music student or $25 if you have 2 or more students in music programs. This year we are trying something new for shift sign-up. This should make the process easier for parents who would like to sign up and work the same shift as their student. Use these links

sign-up. Information at the site (SignUp Genius) will guide you through the options and the process. We are not taking phone call requests for shifts and students. Everyone who signs up to work a shift that weekend will receive a coupon for free

craft fair admission and a meal, when they sign in to work their shift. We will be sending a follow up Email in the week before Pumpkinfest to help fill any open shifts & assure that the event is well-staffed for a smooth operation. Your generosity during this busy weekend is key to keeping the Sycamore Music Department a strong force in educating our children in this most valuable way. We really appreciate your contribution and also your support of your music student throughout the

WHOLE school year!

Thank you for your prompt consideration. We are looking forward to seeing

all of you that weekend! Questions? Contact Kathy Reuter at (815)761-4576 or
